Milo Manara is an Italian comic book creator best known for his erotic approach to the medium. he made his debut in 1969. Good timing I suspect. To my eye he knows what makes a woman attractive and he also obviously has a great sence of humour.

Loretta Lux

This is called The Book by Loretta Lux. I include it because its obviously a rip from Balthus and because its very well done. She a German artist using a combination of photography and photoshop and she certainly sells well. Those Germans love their sentiment. Its kind a kids from the war era look to me. ICHOR Gallery

These people seem to take themselves quite seriously. Heres a quote from their webite "Anthony Christian and his students are widely considered to be the greatest traditionalists in the genre of Erotic Art. The oppressive times of the Renaissance prevented the Old Masters like Leonardo, Michelangelo and Van Eyck from exploring sexuality in art though there is little doubt that they would have if they were free to do so."

The first one is called "When Mona Came to Tea" by Anthony Christian. Its all a bit of a spoof really but I have to say I like it. These paintings are well done and humourous. They stand on their own merit as well as giving a good introduction to some of the art of the past.

And its nice to see Mona finally getting her pussy licked after all these years. The second one is called "The Logical Conclusion" also by Anthony Christian. The last is " The Expression of Love 1" by Julia Cuddlewell. I'm not sure what painting it is based on, if any, but it does have a preraphaelite look to it. Bill Henson

Bill Henson. I had never heard of him but hes the Australian artist that recently had his exhibition in Sydney closed down by the police and then the Prime Minister made some quite complimentary remarks which will no doubt have made his name well known all round the world. Nothing like free publicity. Hes a photographer , and his work looks quite interesting to me, some of the landscapes as well. The PM called his photos "revolting" and added "Whatever the artistic merits of that sort of stuff, frankly I don't think there are any." Classy stuff.

Japanese Cutie

And continuing on the non photographic theme heres another Japanese work of art of a Japanese work of art. I wish I knew who the artist is but I dont, I really only just discovered this style of art and I wish porn photographers would get up to speed with it. Any info on the artist or the work as always appreciated.

Altho I recieve new promotion material from many porn sites daily I still cant find anyhthing that is vaugly interesting, let alone jerk off material. Anime

You know things are getting bleak in porn land when you start to find the cartoons sexier then the photos. Once again its the Japanese that lead the way, altho I believe the Eastern Europeans do some good stuff as well.

Heres a few samples anyway. Im not sure of the names of the artists but I think photographers could learn a lot from them and I hope they do soon. If anyone has an info on the artists please leave a comment.

Heres one link I found to a good site, I think its a she and she does some erotic stuff as well but none there I think, the lighting in that first image is amazing. This is realy hyperphotographer. The idea that photos are somehow what the eye sees is just untrue. People have been looking at photos too long, now there are various techniques such as HDR which produce photos much closer to what the eye sees.

Well, I might move away from porn for a while because to be honest its fucking boring and there isnt one photographer out there that has any talent, its just bullshit for the masses, altho I will make an exception for some of the Japanese photographers.
